DAY 01: ARRIVAL TO LIMA

Assistance on your arrival in Lima and transfer to hotel. Free time to rest.

Night stay.

DAY 02: LIMA / PARACAS / ICA / LIMA (B)

03:00 AM. Pick up at the hotel for transfer to the bus terminal.

03:30 AM. Departure to the city of Paracas in the Transport Company Cruz del Sur.

07:30 AM. Arrival in Paracas and transfer to the pier.

08:00 AM. BALLESTAS ISLANDS

Excursion to the Paracas Peninsula, the sanctuary’s most important wildlife of the Peruvian coast. Boat ride to the Ballestas Islands in the Paracas National Reserve, where we can observe sea lions, pelicans, penguins and other seabirds. Upon return we will have the opportunity to see the “Candelabra”, a giant figure in the style of the Nazca Lines made in the sand. Free time to take pictures of the sea lions, seals and seabirds. Return.

10:30 AM. Exit to the city of Ica in the Transport Company Cruz del Sur.

11:30 AM. Reception in Ica.

Transfer to the office, short break.

P.M. ICA CITY TOUR

We will visit the following places: The Cathedral of the city of Ica, Regional Museum, some winegrowers and the Huacachina Lagoon, traditional resting place for the locals, the lake is an oasis in the desert, forming a splendid landscape of dunes, palm trees.

DAY 03: LIMA / CUSCO (B)

Am. Pick up at the hotel and transfer to the airport.

Am. Arrival in Cusco.

Reception and transfer to the hotel, welcome with a coca tea.

The rest of the day free to acclimatize to the altitude of 3,350 m.a.s.l.

DAY 04: CUSCO (B)

CITY TOUR + NEARBY RUINS

Between 13:00 and 13:20 pick up the passengers at the hotels, then we will start visiting the city and nearby ruins: the tour will show us the amazing colonial city built on Inca bases; the cathedral, Renaissance structure with fine paintings “Cusco School”; and the Koricancha or Sun Temple.

We will continue visiting the four ruins near Cusco: Sacsayhuaman (Great fortress located 5 km from the city), QENQO (sacred amphitheater and center of worship the God Puma, where human sacrifices were made), PUCAPUCARA and TAMBOMACHAY (temple to worship the water). Return to the hotel.

Overnight stay.

DAY 05: SACRED VALLEY TOUR / AGUAS CALIENTES TOWN (B-L)

Pick up at the hotel at 08:00 am. to start the Sacred Valley tour, we will visit the archaeological site of Pisac and then the Town of Pisac, a picturesque village, after we will visit on the way the Towns of Ccoya, Lamay, Calca and Urubamba, in the last place we will have a buffet lunch. In the afternoon we will visit the village of Ollantaytambo, where we will see the Archaeological Park of Ollantaytambo, it was a gigantic complex in the time of the Incas. After that we will take the train to the Town of Aguas Calientes. Reception and transfer to the Hotel.

DAY 06: FULL DAY MACHUPICCHU (B)

In the morning after breakfast transfer to the bus station, there we will take the bus to the Lost City of the Incas, “Machu Picchu”, where we will enjoy a guided tour of the main buildings of the citadel as El Mirador, Temple of the Three Windows, the Intihuatana, the Main Plaza, etc. This visit will allow us to appreciate the high level of development of andean civilization through the Incas.

P.m. Return to Aguas Calientes by bus.

P.m. Take the train to Cusco.

Arrival in Cusco and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 07: CUSCO / PUNO (B)

In the morning, pick up at the hotel in Cusco at 6:30 am. and transfer to the bus station, this transport service is a favorite for visitors because in the route you will visit various archaeological sites accompanied by a professional guide. The buses are modern and have all the comforts and services. Arrival in Puno at 5:00 pm. approximately. Reception and transfer to the hotel. Night stay.

The places you will visit on the route are:

ANDAHUAYLILLAS: We will visit the chapel called “Sistine Chapel of America”, inside you will see paintings and murals of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries made by important painters.

RAQCHI: We will visit the Temple of God Wiracocha Inca, monumental building where you will see giant columns made of stone. Also we will appreciate the qolqas or barns used at the time of the Incas.

SICUANI: We will have lunch at a tourist restaurant.

LA RAYA: Midpoint on the route Puno – Cusco; is the highest point of travel located 4.335 m.a.s.l. where we will observe “auquénidos” of the most varied in their natural habitat.

PUKARA: The most important and ancient ceremonial center of the plateau of origin TIAHUANACO, characterized by a series of stepped platforms.

DAY 08: PUNO / UROS / TAQUILE / CUSCO (B-L)

After breakfast pick up at the hotel in Puno to go to the port and board a motorized boat, after 30 minutes, we will arrive to the beautiful floating islands of the Uros, we will visit the different islands, then continue the trip to Taquile Island, from the port we will begin a walk of 40 minutes, crossing roads and bleachers to the village, then we will visit the various tourist attractions that has this typical island, we will appreciate the exhibition of handicrafts. We will have time for lunch and then return to the city of Puno, we will arrive at 17:00; at night at 22:00 hours we will take the bus to Cusco.

DAY 09: CUSCO / LIMA (B)

05:00 AM. Arrival to the city of Cusco.

Am: Reception at the Lima airport and transfer to the hotel.

14:20 HRS. LIMA CITY TOUR.

ANCESTRAL LIMA: We will begin our tour with a panoramic view of the “Pyramid Pucllana” magnificent ceremonial and archeological center built in the fourth century A.C. and considered “holy people” by the Incas.

COLONIAL LIMA: We will visit the Historic Center of Lima, where you will appreciate more than fifty monuments and colonial buildings, highlighting the Paseo de la Republica, San Martin Square, Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Basilica Cathedral, City Hall among others.

We will visit the MUSEUM OF CENTRAL RESERVE BANK *, where you will appreciate the “Collection Treasures of Peru”, a fine selection of gold objects, ceramics and textiles of various pre-Columbian cultures. Further it appreciates the MONUMENTAL SET OF SAN FRANCISCO, which is the largest sample of colonial religious art in America, which highlights the visit to its underground crypts known as “Catacombs”.

CONTEMPORARY LIMA: We will know the most traditional residential areas of Lima, El Olivar de San Isidro, Miraflores and Larcomar.

18:30 hrs: Return to the hotel.
