South Valley ½ day (Tipón - Pikillacta - Andahuaylillas)

This is an interesting tour, you will visit archeological sites located in the south of Cusco, it’s attractive for people who want to enjoy a quiet tour, with a few visitors. You will visit the irrigation center of Tipon, you will see Pikillacta a small pre-inka city and the Sixtina Chapel in Andahuaylillas.

Itinerary.

At 9:00 am. we will pick you up at your hotel, to travel towards the South Valley, first we’ll visit the Archaeological Center of Tipón, there we will observe an impressive irrigation system used in the Inkas time, after we´ll continue to Pikillacta a well preserved archeological site from the Wari, Pre-Inca period, we will see temples, squares, typical streets and houses. After that we’ll go to a small village (Andahuaylillas) famous for its Sixtina Chapel. We will see the beautiful murals of traditional Cusquenian art amazing embroideries and carved altars.
