Itinerary.

Day 1: Cusco

Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel. We will give you the information about the tours. You will have a free day. You can rest or walk around the city.

Day 2: Sacred Valley of the Inkas

We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:30 am. We are going to visit the spectacular Sacred Valley. First we will see a fascinating Inka market at Pisaq which is a good place to buy gifts. Then we will visit the spectacular ruins of Pisaq. We will pass for different sites like Coya, Lamay, Calca, Urubamba, in this place we will have a delicious lunch. After lunch we will visit the fascinating ruins of Ollantaytambo Archaeological site which is a real sample of Inca Architecture. On the way back to Cusco we will visit Chinchero Village and enter to San Pedro Church. We will end the tour in the main square of Cusco. Transfer to the Hotel.

Day 3: Cusco - Aguas Calientes (Inka Trail)

We will pick you up from your hotel at 5:00 am. and take the train to Chachabamba (km 104) which is the starting point of the trek. We will visit the Temple of Chachabamba. Afterwards the trail climbs gently up to Wiñayhuayna another lovely Inca temple with impressive terraces. After the lunch you will climb up the Inca steps to the Sun Gate in order to see the sunset on Machupicchu and the surrounding green mountains. From the Sun Gate the trail descends gently to Machupicchu. In the afternoon we will arrive to Aguas Calientes Town and spend the night in a hotel there. In the evening you can take a bath in the natural hot springs.

Day 4: Aguas Calientes - Machupicchu - Cusco (Inka Trail)

Early in the morning, we will take the bus to Machupicchu with your guide and you will visit before other tourists. The whole day can be dedicated to explore this extraordinary Inca monument. In the afternoon we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo and take the bus to Cusco. Transfer to your hotel.

Day 5: Cusco - Puno

After breakfast we will take the bus to Puno. On the rout we will visit some archaeological sites located on the south. We'll have a delicious lunch. We will arrive to Puno in the night. Spend the night in a Hotel in Puno.

Day 6: Puno - Uros - Amantani Island

In the morning we will pick you up at your hotel in Puno and we will go to the port to take you on a motor boat excursion on the waters of Lake Titicaca. After 30 minutes we will see and visit the unique floating Island of the Uros which is inhabited by many families. They use the cattail, a type of bush which grows in the lake to create conditions that ensure that the island stays afloat. Then we will continue to Amantani Island, where we will have lunch. We will spend the night and have dinner at the house of a local family to enjoy the hospitality of a typical Amantani home.

Day 7: Amantani Island - Taquile - Puno - Arequipa

After breakfast we will continue towards Taquile Island, we will walk for 40 minutes until arrive to the Town, we'll visit different traditional sites there. Later in the afternoon we will return to Puno. After that we will take the bus to Arequipa. Spend the night in a Hotel.

Day 8: Arequipa - Chivay

We will pick you up at your hotel at 08:20 am. We will travel by bus to Chivay Town; on the rout we'll see the Chachani and Yura Volcanoes. We will see wild vicuñas at Pampa Cañahuas National Reserve, alpacas, llamas in Tocra, plus various birds. we'll stop at the highest point to observe the volcanoes and snow covered mountains in Patapampa (4,800 m.a.s.l.). Later we will arrive to Chivay the Capital of the valley. We will have lunch and accommodation in the hotel. In the afternoon we'll have an optional visit to the hot springs in La Calera. We will spend the night in a Hotel in Chivay.

Day 9: Chivay - Arequipa

In the morning we will pick you up at your hotel and continue the tour we will go to Pinchollo Town where there is the Lookout from The Cross of the Condor we will see deep into the canyon and observe the famous flight of the Condors, after we'll return to Chivay and we will visit typical towns on the rout, we will visit colonial churches and see gentle people with typical handmade clothing. Also you'll see stone scale models and some pre-Inca graves. We will arrive to Chivay, we'll have the lunch and we'll return to Arequipa. Transfer to the Hotel.

Day 10: Departure day.

After breakfast transfer to the airport.
