Itinerary.

Day 1: City Tour

When you arrive to Cusco, reception and transfer to the hotel. We will give you the information about the tours. In the morning you have free time. At 2:00 pm. We’ll pick you up from your hotel, with our guide we are going to visit the Cathedral there are magnificent colonial art and paintings, after we will visit some of the most impressive Inca stonework and the most important religious center at Koricancha (Temple of the Sun). Then we will visit the impressive Incan fortress of Sacsayhuaman and Archaeological sites including Qenqo, Pucapukara and the spring shrine of Tambomachay. We will end the tour at the main square of Cusco. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Sacred Valley of the Inkas

We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:30 am. We are going to visit the spectacular Sacred Valley. First we will see a fascinating Inka market at Pisaq which is a good place to buy gifts. Then we will visit the spectacular ruins of Pisaq. We will pass for different sites like Coya, Lamay, Calca, Urubamba, in this place we will have a delicious lunch. After lunch we will visit the fascinating ruins of Ollantaytambo Archaeological site which is a real sample of Inca Architecture. On the way back to Cusco we will visit Chinchero Village and enter to San Pedro Church. We will end the tour in the main square of Cusco. Transfer to the Hotel.

Day 3: Cusco - Santa Maria (Inka Jungle)

In the morning at 7:30 we will pick you up from your Hotel and we’ll climb by bus until the Malaga High Pass 4350 m.a.s.l. (Abra Malaga), we will start to ride down to the Jungle for 5 hours approximately, we’ll see different towns, exotic plantations of coffee, bananas, oranges and the typical coca leaf plantations, in the afternoon we will arrive to Santa Maria a Jungle Village. We will spend the night in a Hostal.

Day 4: Santa Maria - Santa teresa (Inka Jungle)

After a delicious breakfast we’ll begin the hike at 6:00 am. We’ll walk near the Vilcanota River and climbing up the jungle Mountains we’ll see more plantations and different birds, nice landscapes, local people, different kind of plants and animals. We will have lunch in Kellomayo. In the afternoon we will arrive to Santa Teresa, you can relax and take a bath at the hot springs there. We will spend the night in a Hostal.

Day 5: Santa Teresa - Aguas Calientes (Inka Jungle)

Today we will walk for 5 hours approximately, we will continue walking on the Train Rail, from there we’ll see the lovely form of Machupicchu in the afternoon we’ll arrive to Aguas Calientes Village. Transfer to your Hotel.

Day 6: Aguas Calientes - Machupicchu - Cusco (Inka Jungle)

Today after breakfast, we will begin to walk to Machupicchu archaeological site; we will visit this old Village with our professional guide. In the afternoon, we will go down to Aguas Calientes, to take our train back to Ollantaytambo and take the bus to Cusco. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 7: Departure day

After breakfast transfer to the airport.
