Itinerary:

Day 1: Cusco - Aguas Calientes

We will pick you up from your hotel at 5:00 am. and take the train to Chachabamba (km 104) which is the starting point of the trek. We will visit the Temple of Chachabamba. Afterwards the trail climbs gently up to Wiñayhuayna another lovely Inca temple with impressive terraces. After the lunch you will climb up the Inca steps to the Sun Gate in order to see the sunset on Machupicchu and the surrounding green mountains. From the Sun Gate the trail descends gently to Machupicchu. In the afternoon we will arrive to Aguas Calientes Town and spend the night in a hotel there. In the evening you can take a bath in the natural hot springs.

Day 2: Aguas Calientes - Machupicchu - Cusco

Early in the morning, we will take the bus to Machupicchu with your guide and you will visit before other tourists. The whole day can be dedicated to explore this extraordinary Inca monument. In the afternoon we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo and take the bus to Cusco. Transfering to your hotel.
